Jelly Roll is reflecting on one of the most meaningful moments of his career, after shooting the music video for "Hands Up."

The autobiographical piece was filmed inside San Quentin Rehabilitation Center in San Francisco and features him performing alongside incarcerated musicians.

Arriving at the prison while reciting a prayer in voiceover, Jelly Roll joins a group of inmates holding instruments. Later, he greets other incarcerated men in the prison canteen, shaking hands and performing with inmates as his backing band.

In a post shared on Instagram, Jelly Roll emphasized that the men featured in the video were "not actors." He later described the experience as one of the most memorable moments of his career.

"Truly one of the most special things I've ever had the opportunity to do," he wrote. "The moment my life truly changed is when I threw my hands up. I know a lot of folks will hear this and remember their 'hands up' moment as well."

The Grammy-nominated artist, who has spoken publicly about his own past incarceration, said returning to a correctional facility carried deep personal meaning.

"I remember being in the same kind of place all these incarcerated guys are in," he continued. "To get to do this with them is beyond words for me."

The music video arrives amid Jelly Roll's divorce from Bunnie Xo. He filed for divorce in May after 10 years of marriage.

When tickets went on sale Friday for Garth Brooks' August return to arenas, response was so great he doubled his run in Indianapolis.

Originally set to play only Aug. 21-22, he'll now kick off the Blame It All on My Roots Tour on Thursday, Aug. 20, and play a Sunday matinee at Gainbridge Fieldhouse as well. 

Garth is just as excited as the fans.  

"It’s like a baseballer or a fireman," he says. "You know, they don’t miss the game or the fires, they miss the fire hall. They miss the dugout. Same with me, man. I’m so excited to get back just to see the band and crew and hang out with them."

"And then, of course, the people, just to hopefully hear their voices. I can’t tell you how excited I am. I just hope that those people that show up have the best time of their lives. I know I’m going to," he adds.

The Blame It All on My Roots concerts serve as the foundation for something he's calling Killer Live and touting as "a groundbreaking new approach to live recording."

Brad Paisley's Tacklebox - Disc 1 is complete, as he releases the final three cuts: “Who Knew,” “Tell Me Your Life Story” and “It’s Still Goodbye." The "I'm Gonna Miss Her" hitmaker started putting out the unreleased and unrecorded songs from his back catalog on May 11. The 13-track collection also includes other new songs inspired by the '80s and '90s.

Emily Ann Roberts and Ian Munsick team up for a new version of "Jack & Jill Daniel's," previously released as a solo track. Emily Ann sang it with Ian for the first time the night before this year's Academy of Country Music Awards after hearing he was a fan of the song. 

Ryan Hurd's new song, "Glory.," is out now, ahead of his July 25 Ryan Hurd & Friends benefit at Griswold Auditorium in Allegan, Michigan.

Corey Kent would "Rather Be Here" on the latest preview of his upcoming album, and it only makes sense that Jason Aldean would be there with him. 

"I really wanted to capture a '70s-style southern rock vibe, and I'm so lucky to have my big brother in country music, Jason Aldean, on this one," he says. "It's still surreal every time I hear his voice come in on verse two."

"Nobody has blended country and rock & roll better than Jason," Corey continues. "His early stuff was such an inspiration to me as an artist, so having him on this song is perfect. It has such an infectious, sing-along quality to it, and I can't wait to hear folks sing it with us at shows."

"Rather Be Here" counts HARDY and Morgan Wallen among its co-writers and appears on Heartland Rock and Roll, which comes out Sept. 25.

The album's first radio single, "Rocky Mountain Low" with Koe Wetzel, currently sits at #2 on the chart, with Jason's "Don't Tell on Me" at #1. Corey's already released "Empty Words" as its follow-up.

Brothers Osborne continue to tease us with what's to come.

"Something big is on the horizon... and the wait is almost over," the duo writes on their socials, adding #RIP. While it's unclear if that may actually be the name of the song, "RIP" also appears in the place where Instagram normally denotes the audio behind a clip. 

"A little sneak peak of what's coming next" appears on the footage that starts with TJ Osborne on a boat, drink in hand.

"Might be the buzz or the nicotine, but I'm about as good as I'm gonna be/ I'm dead to you, you're dead to me/ We're movin' on," he whisper-raps as the new tune starts.

"Goodbye!/ I'm already six deep at the bar/ Yes I am," he sings, as we see him back on land with John Osborne. "Tonight, it finally all fell apart/ So drive that last nail into my pinebox heart."

Earlier, the CMA and ACM duo of the year winners revealed their upcoming album will be centered around their hometown of Deale, Maryland, presumably where the video was shot. 

It's also worth noting that Pinebox is the name of John's studio where they've been working on new music.

It's time for a high school reunion with Lauren Alaina and Kane Brown. 

Having first met during their teen years in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, the two went on to top the chart with "What Ifs" in 2017, and now they could do it again. 

“I wrote 'Never Been in Love' about the stage of life I'm in now,” Lauren says. “I remember falling for my husband and feeling different than I've ever felt before. When you find true love and happiness, you realize how much you never had it in past relationships."

"I'm so excited to sing this song with my boy, Kane Brown," she adds. "We've come a long way from those two kids singing 'What Ifs' ten years ago. It's so exciting to sing this song to celebrate the love we have with our spouses and children.”

"Never Been in Love" will appear on Lauren's Stages album, which drops Aug. 28. 

"What Ifs" was included on Kane's debut album from 2016 and went on to become his first #1. It was Lauren's second, following "Road Less Traveled." 

The duet would go on to be certified Diamond, signifying 10 million in sales. 

If you're thinking Lauren seems to be gifted at duets, you're right: She currently has a top-15 hit with Chase Matthew and "All My Exes."

Promising a night filled with yuletide favorites and their hits, LBT's continuing a tradition they started in 2017 as they became the first artists ever to play a year-long residency at the Mother Church of Country Music. Tickets are on sale now.

Gavin Adcock's third album in three years, The Day I Hang It Up, is set to arrive Oct. 2, featuring his current hit, "Wannabe."

Through all of that I’ve stood up to my darkest demons, laughed in the face of adversity, and kept the pedal down letting out music for my fans.”

Greylan James currently has his biggest hit so far on the radio, as "Water at a Wedding" slips into country's top 25. The Knoxville native's held this vision most of his life, ever since his grandfather gave him a guitar at the age of 5. 

Intent on following his country music dreams, young Greylan played local gigs while begrudgingly getting by in school. Worlds collided, however, the day he got a bad report card in sixth grade and came face-to-face with a superstar.

"That night I was playing a show, a little bluegrass show in East Tennessee, and it just so happens Peyton Manning and Kenny Chesney showed up to that show," he recalls. "And I got to meet Kenny for like a blip. I was with my dad and we got to walk up and take a picture with him."

"And my dad asked Kenny, he’s like, 'Hey, if you could give any advice to my son, like what would it be? And by the way, he just got his first C today, and he thinks he’s gonna be a country music singer and school doesn’t matter,'" he continues. "And Kenny was like, 'Well, school does matter, but learn how to write songs.' And so, I didn’t go to college, didn’t stay in school, but I learned how to write the songs part."

The story has a happy ending, with Greylan co-writing both "Happy Does," Kenny's #2 hit from 2021, and the title track of his 2024 album, Born.

Greylan scored his first #1 as a writer in 2023 with Jordan Davis' "Next Thing You Know" and went on to pick up an ACM song of the year trophy for his efforts.

The Grand Ole Opry will honor Charley Pride during a special show Tuesday, Sept. 22. 

Darius Rucker, Pam Tillis, Neal McCoy and Dion Pride are among those set to play.

"The Grand Ole Opry held a very special place in my father's heart, and our family is deeply grateful to see his music and legacy celebrated on the stage he loved so much," Dion says. "It will be an honor to perform alongside artists who admired him and to share his songs with the fans who have kept them alive for generations."

Pride made his Opry debut in 1967, though he didn't become a member until 1993. Touring commitments forced him to turn down an earlier invitation. 

Songs like "Kiss an Angel Good Mornin'," "Is Anybody Goin' to San Antone," "Burgers and Fries" and "Roll on Mississippi" made him one of the most successful Black artists ever to sing country music. He passed away in 2020 at the age of 86.

The Ray Charles Rooftop Terrace at L.A.'s Grammy Museum was the latest of many Stages Midland's playing to promote their sixth studio album.

After their Tuesday talk with Entertainment Tonight's Cassie DiLaura, Mark Wystrach, Cameron Duddy and Jess Carson treated the sold-out crowd to a performance.

Their set included Stages tracks “Shooting Memories with Tequila,” “Walk a Mile,” “I Wish You Would,” “Marlboro Man” and “Vaquero,” as well as their signature hit, the six-times Platinum #1 "Drinkin' Problem." 

The trio plays Bakersfield, California, on Thursday, and then you can catch their Saturday Sessions on CBS Saturday Morning.

Morgan Wallen doesn't exactly post on his socials every day, so when he says something, it's usually worth paying attention. 

"Maybe I’ll release this one before the boats get winterized this time," he writes in a new post of him playing and singing an unreleased song on piano. It isn't exactly new, however, since he dropped the same snippet of a studio version five weeks ago. 

"No we don't even fight like we used to/ We don't even care enough to cry no more/ It's been a hundred nights since I knew you/ How long we gonna keep lookin' at that door?" he asks.

"If it was meant to be, we'da been by now," he continues. "We wouldn't have to keep trying to work things out/ Yeah baby we're a breeze when the lights go down/ It wouldn't be so hard when we ain't in the dark/ If we were in the stars they'da lined right up/ And maybe from the start we've been tryin' too much/ I know you want to think that it's what we've found/ But if it was meant to be, we'da been by now."

Scotty McCreery fans will be able to take a walk down memory lane when his greatest hits collection, titled 15, comes out on Friday. 

The North Carolina native was only 17 when he won American Idol in 2011, and since then, he's gone on to build his life in the public eye. He married longtime girlfriend Gabi Dugal in 2018, before welcoming Avery McCreery in October 2022 and his second son in September 2025.

But when Oliver McCreery joined the family, his big brother had big feelings about what his name should be. He was fighting for Bo-Berry McCreery, which happens to be the name of his favorite treat at Bojangles.

"Avery's doing great, Ollie's doing great," Scotty says. "Bo-Berry comes out every now and then. But yeah, the Bo-Berry name is kind of starting to fade a little. But Avery is loving his little brother. I think he wants to just play tackle football with him all the time, so we have to tell him [to] be gentle."

"But he's a sweet kid," he continues. "And the other day, he looked at Ollie. Ollie's just sitting there, obviously. And he just goes up and says, 'Ollie, I am so proud of you.' And then he walks away — and I'm melting. He's been a great big bro."

Post Malone will be headlining the FIFA World Cup 2026 closing ceremony.

He’ll be performing just before the final soccer match takes place at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, known for the World Cup as the New York/New Jersey Stadium, on Sunday.

“At a time when sport, culture and global attention converge, Post Malone will deliver a performance designed to celebrate the tournament’s journey and ignite the atmosphere before the world's attention turns to the two finalists,” FIFA President Gianni Infantino said in a statement.

The closing ceremony will also feature an appearance by Tom Cruise, as well as Italian singer-songwriter Laura Pausini, American singer and actress Nicole Scherzinger, English singer-songwriter Robbie Williams and YouTube creator IShowSpeed.

Jennifer Hudson will be singing the national anthem.

The closing ceremony will begin 90 minutes before kickoff at 1:30 p.m. ET on Sunday.

Earlier in July, FIFA announced Justin Bieber as a co-headliner for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final Halftime Show alongside Madonna, BTS and Shakira.

The Eric Church Band continues its tradition of giving back with Music Row for MusiCares, set to take place Sunday, Aug. 9, at Chief's on Broadway.

Band members Jeff Hyde and Driver Williams will be joined by songwriters Casey Beathard, Luke Dick, Jonathan Singleton and Dan Isbell for a Nashville evening of stories and songs. 

Since they're also teasing special guests, you never know if the boss — in this case, The Chief — may show up.

Tickets are on sale now. Proceeds will go to MusiCares, the Grammy organization's nonprofit that helps give "health and human services to members of the music community."

Since 2012, the Eric Church Band has raised more than $3.5 million through its annual golf tourney and auction.
