Darius Rucker found out he's a member of the Spotify Billions Club just before going onstage Saturday at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre. 

He and Old Crow Medicine Show’s Ketch Secor were presented a plaque signifying that "Wagon Wheel" has passed that many streams on the service, before singing it together later in the night. 

Ketch is one of the song's writers, having finished it from a lyric started by the legendary Bob Dylan.

“You never know where a song is going to take you, and I don’t think any of us could’ve imagined ‘Wagon Wheel’ would still mean this much to people all these years later,” Darius says. “To celebrate a billion streams with Ketch right before we walked out at Red Rocks made it even more special. I’m grateful to everybody who’s made this song part of their lives, and I’ll keep singing it as long as y’all let me!”

Old Crow Medicine Show released the original version of "Wagon Wheel" in 2004, before it arrived on Darius' True Believers album in 2013.

LOCASH will Let the Country Music Play with their new EP of the same name that arrives Aug. 7.

The five-song set features the title track, their collab with Parmalee that takes Rupert Holmes’ “Escape (The Piña Colada Song)” and recasts it in the world of Music City. 

As well as "Yes," which came out in May, it also boasts their new radio single, "Talkin Bout," plus "I Aint Goin Nowhere" and "Love Always Wins."

It's Preston Brust and Chris Lucas' follow-up to their Bet the Farm album, which features "Hometown Home," one of the top-five hits of the entire year of 2025.

Brett Eldredge will mark a decade since his first holiday album with an anniversary tour. 

The 12-stop Glow: 10 Year Anniversary Tour kicks off Friday, Nov. 27, with three dates at Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium and wrap with two shows at New York's Beacon Theatre starting Dec. 18. 

"I believe in tradition and I believe it makes us who we are," Brett says. "It gives us depth and soul. We put out Glow 10 years ago, and wow has it been an incredible ride. This album was my Christmas dream, and the tour brought it to a place where I could build a timeless tradition with my fans. This year we will celebrate a decade of magic and deepen the journey for many years to come! I can’t wait!”

Brett followed that initial yuletide collection with two more, 2021's Mr. Christmas and 2024's Merry Christmas (Welcome to the Family).

Presales for the tour are underway now, before tickets become available to the public on Friday.

The records keep coming from Morgan Wallen, as "Don't We" becomes his 21st #1 on Billboard Country Airplay. 

Equally impressive is that it's his seventh chart-topper from his most recent record, 2025's I'm the Problem. That makes him the only artist in the chart's history to have done it with a single album.

Luke Combs' What You See Is What You Get also boasts seven number ones between 2019 and 2021, but they're spread across both the original and deluxe editions. 

"Don't We" follows Morgan's "20 Cigarettes,” “I Got Better,” “Just in Case,” "I'm the Problem," “Love Somebody” and “Lies Lies Lies.”

He also posted six number ones from his previous album, 2023's One Thing at a Time.

Still one more thing: Morgan's also at #2 with Ella Langley and "I Can't Love You Anymore."

Reba McEntire's fourth music capsule is telephone-themed, anchored by the new song "Ring Ring," which was co-written by American Idol favorite Kellie Pickler.

The EP also includes two #5 hits, 1993's "It's Your Call" and 1994's "Why Haven't I Heard from You." Two album cuts complete the collection: "Long Distance Lover" from 1980's Feel the Fire and "She's Callin' It Love" from 1996's What If It's You.

Ring Ring follows April's One Night in Tulsa, May's Hurt Like That and June's Ain't Gonna Keep It Waitin', all featuring a brand-new recording as the title track.

You can now hear the full studio version of "Her, the Kids and Jesus," after Dan + Shay debuted it back in December during a pop-up at Nashville's La La Land Cafe. 

"Thank y’all for loving on this song since the first time we played it acoustic," Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney said on their socials, sharing various stages of the song's development, including that performance. 

"Her, the Kids and Jesus" is the fourth release from the duo's sixth studio album, following their top-20 hit, "Say So," "Marry You Again" and the title track, "Young." The full album arrives Aug. 21. 

The duo's set to play ABC's GMA Summer Concert Series July 31. They'll launch their 26-date The Young Tour Sept. 11 in Noblesville, Indiana, with Tyler Hubbard and Josh Ross joining them.

Brothers Osborne are starting their new musical era by say "R.I.P." to selling out.  

“R.I.P. is us getting back to our musical roots,” John Osborne says. “This new music is a rearview glimpse into where we came from while still driving forward into the new and unknown.”

The siblings previously revealed that their new music takes inspiration from their hometown of Deale, Maryland.

“We’re not just getting back to where we were born and raised," TJ Osborne adds, "but to the roots of where we started musically. A time when music wasn’t dictated by anything other than what our hearts and souls wanted to say."

Little Big Town's keeping a Dying Art alive, with their latest preview of their upcoming 12th studio album. 

"We Could Have It All" was written by Ashley Monroe and LBT's Jimi Westbrook and Karen Fairchild, who also co-produced the project. 

"Hope is never gone/ Honey just hold on/ When this world feels crazy/ I'll always fight for you/ Yeah it's worth seeing through/ The nights don't last long baby/ The sun will come up again/ So why stop trying when/ We could have it all," the foursome sings on the new track. 

It follows "Hey There Sunshine," "Over and Over" and "Sucker for a Sad Song," ahead of the Aug. 28 release of It's a Dying Art. 

Karen, Jimi, Kimberly Schlapman and Phillip Sweet are set to perform Sept. 1 on NBC's Today show, before they kick off their For the Art of It Tour Sept. 24 in St. Petersburg, Florida. 

They're also booked to do a three-night Christmas residency at the Ryman in December.

Midland's headed to the dance floor with three new versions of their songs reimagined by DJ duo Country Night. 

Midland Country Night Remixes includes new versions of their debut #1 hit, "Drinkin' Problem"; 2024's "Barely Blue"; and "Shooting Memories with Tequila" from their sixth studio album, Stages, which just came out in June. 

This weekend, Mark Wystrach, Cameron Duddy and Jess Carson continue their Stages Tour with a Friday stop at Montana's Headwaters Country Jam.

You can now vicariously experience Kenny Chesney's journey from East Tennessee to superstardom in Nashville through his new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. 

"It’s a lot to take in, and a lot of fun, heart, moments," he said after his first look. "Seeing it all in one place like that, it’s like having your entire life, career, all the magic flying by your eyes – and man, what a trip it was. If I hadn’t been there, I might not be able to believe it."

At Wednesday's private opening, CEO Kyle Young remarked how his input into the exhibit stood out among the 225 the museum has put on, thanks to "Kenny’s exceptional musical talent and insatiable creativity." 

Kenny Chesney: Living in Fast Forward runs through June 2027. You can check out its accompanying playlist via your favorite streaming service now. 

Though the exhibit's included with admission, advanced reservations are encouraged.

Bob Seger loves Patty Loveless so much, he came to Nashville in 2023 to help induct her into the Country Music Hall of Fame, performing her 1996 hit "She Drew a Broken Heart" in her honor. 

Now the rock legend's rereleasing the album that brought them together, 2006's Face the Promise, which will bring their only musical collaboration to streaming for the first time. Though the album was primarily recorded in Nashville, he flew to her home in Georgia to record "The Answer's in the Question." 

The expanded 20th anniversary release drops Sept. 18 and will include a newly remastered edition of the original album, along with four bonus tracks: "Time," "Little Jane," "Red Eye to Memphis" and "Let Me Try."

It'll be available on CD and as a two-LP black vinyl set, the latter of which will come with a 12-page LP-sized booklet, complete with lyrics, photos and more.

Released on Sept. 12, 2006, Face the Promise was Seger’s first album since 1995’s It’s a Mystery. It was also the first studio album since 1975’s Beautiful Loser where he was not credited as Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.

The album debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart and went onto be certified Platinum by the RIAA.

You might remember that Kenny Rogers and Sheena Easton also had a #1 country hit in 1983 with their version of Seger's "We've Got Tonite."

There's new music coming from Zach Top in August. 

"Make it a double! 2 songs are dropping next month and I’m excited for you all to hear them," he announced Thursday on Instagram. 

"Good Girls & Cowgirls" and "Other Side of Hurtin'" will both arrive digitally on Aug. 21, with a 7-inch vinyl single to follow on Sept. 25.

Zach debuted "Good Girls & Cowgirls" during his headlining set July 18 at Montana's Under the Big Sky Festival.

His Cold Beer & Country Music Tour continues this summer, with a Thursday stop at the North Dakota State Fair. Meanwhile, "South of Sanity" is now a top-15 hit.

Tigirlily Gold's new record is titled Country & Midwestern, in a nod to the duo's North Dakota roots. 

“We could not be more excited to finally announce our sophomore album, Country & Midwestern!” Kendra Olson and Krista Slaubaugh say in a news release. “This album came to be by taking the sounds of the 2000s Country music we grew up on and our love of growing up in the Midwest, which is often overlooked and under-appreciated.

"While the album is sonically nostalgic, the lyrics cover where we've been, where we are, and where we're going, professionally and personally," the sisters continue. "We spent the last two years planting many seeds - some that painted fields gold and some that never had the chance to grow. We did not sugarcoat any of our experiences, and hope everyone can hear the heart of this album, because it's one and the same as ours.”

The project shares its title with their song that came out in March and boasts a cover photo shot on the North Dakota plains by Kendra's husband, Jared Olson.

The second stop on Garth Brooks' Blame It All on My Roots arena tour will take place in Denver, Colorado. 

The superstar will play Ball Arena on Friday, Sept. 4, and Saturday, Sept. 5, after the inaugural stop in Indianapolis Aug. 20-23.

All tickets go on sale July 31, with no presales and all seats reserved, with both in-the-round and end-stage seating available. The cost is $155.25 including all fees this time, compared to $154 for Indy. 

Will Garth add Thursday and Sunday shows? That seems to be the custom if it sells well, and Ball Arena currently is open on those dates.

In spite of Jason Aldean's pleas, the secret is out: "Don't Tell on Me" is spending its third week atop Billboard Country Airplay and its second atop the Mediabase tally. 

The reign of his 32nd #1 is timed perfectly with an especially busy summer. He released the live version of the title track of his latest album, Songs About Us, on Tuesday. The duet with Luke Bryan was recorded during their April concert on the campus of the University of Georgia.  

The Peach State native also launched his Songs About Us Tour July 16 with stops in Maine, New Jersey and New York. On Thursday, he continues the run in Wichita before heading to Oklahoma City and Kansas City. 

Still to come, Jason's releasing three of his classic albums on vinyl for the first time ever on Sept. 18. The first is his self-titled debut album from 2005, followed by 2010's My Kinda Party and 2016's They Don't Know. 

Jason's next radio single is "Anytime Soon," which seems destined to be the third hit from his current album.

The new song from Brothers Osborne, "R.I.P.," is set to arrive Friday in two different incarnations. 

"In this day and age, you gotta put your music out a certain way," John Osborne said in a video posted on the duo's website. "We refused to sell out until now. We've shortened some of our songs for all the streaming platforms. Fine." 

The version specifically made for streaming is titled "R.I.P." (Sellout Edit), while the full-length version will be available exclusive for members of their Family Fan Club, John goes on to explain.

John and TJ Osborne unveiled a snippet of the song earlier on their socials, after revealing their next album was inspired by their hometown of Deale, Maryland.

Tucker Wetmore's giving fans a Sunburn Mixtape to take to the beach before summer draws to a close.

The new six-song EP includes his new radio single, "Who Told You That," which came out earlier in July, as well as "Sunburn" from March and "Proving Me Right," which dropped in December.

The July 31 collection adds three unreleased tracks: "Crazy to Yourself," "98%" and "YOURS."

If you'd like to study the song list more closely, that's easy to do, since part of the project's artwork includes a shirtless beach picture of Tucker's impressive back, with the tracks seemingly suntanned onto to his skin.

Wynonna Judd and Melissa Etheridge have spent the summer sharing a stage, and they say now is the perfect time.

"They don't know how hard it is to coordinate two artists to get together and do something. It's almost impossible," Etheridge tells ABC News. "Where we're at in our life right now, this is something we want to come out and do."

The 27-date Raised on Radio co-headlining run opened June 24 and continues through September.

"We were all raised on radio," Wynonna says. "I remember hearing my song for the first time on the radio. Everybody has a memory. And everybody in the audience, when I sing '80s and '90s, they go nuts." 

Naomi Judd died by suicide on April 30, 2022, one day before The Judds were inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Wynonna accepted the honor with her sister, Ashley Judd, at her side.

"The night before, I laid out my clothes and I said, 'I still have to show up, because this is part of my destiny,'" Wynonna says. "My sister held my hand the whole time. I made it through, but I was lost. Healing comes when you open up and accept the grief and let it flow over you for as long as it's needed."

Her mother, she said, is still with her.

"Through the music. I'm just having a conversation with her constantly," Wynonna says. She'll release The Hard Truth, her first solo studio album in a decade, in October. "It's made me a better person, not bitter. And that's the key right there."

Etheridge carries her own loss. Her son Beckett Cypher died in 2020 at 21 from causes related to opioid addiction.

Neither ruled out making a record together. "Wouldn't it be fun?" Wynonna said. "I've never done it before."

Warren Zeiders is going all-in on his third studio album, No Brakes, which is set to arrive Sept. 25. 

Keeping with that philosophy, the 12-song project was made "primarily in a two day, twelve hour work session." 

“Life is inevitable,” Warren says. “Good things, bad things, it’s all coming at you – and you have to power on. There’s not really a choice, but why would you want one? That’s why the idea, all gas, no brakes really seemed like the right name for this album.”

The title track follows the previously released "Days of My Life" and "Drinking Game," with the rest of the songs still to be revealed. 

Zeiders hit #1 with his double-Platinum "Pretty Little Poison" in early 2024.
